Our research interests lie in the inner workings of cells and how they communicate, through physical contact or over long distances. In recent years, the Ultrastructural Pathology and Bioimaging Lab at Victor Babeș Institute has focused on the morphological characterization and interaction between the different cell types involved in tissue regeneration, however, with the arrival of new, cutting-edge equipment, our interests are now expanding to structural studies at the molecular level.
For this work we are currently funded from a number of national and international grants.
